Vanochtend verloopt de start wat moeizaam, we weten niet of de vrije avond van gisteren hier voor iets tussenzit maar ..

(2) 10u00 - Bologna - Brühler - 84 - 25 - winnaar Bologna
  
Van bij de start loopt Bologna vrij gemakkelijk uit tegen onze Duitse ploeg. Scoren lukt echter beter dan in voorgaande wedstrijden voor Brühler. Aan het eind van het derde kwart gaat nr 13 van Bruhler met kwetsuur van het veld.
  
From the start Bologna plays smooth basketball and is taking the lead. Our German team is finding the way to the basket more easy. At the end of third quarter player nbr 13 has to leave the court with an injury.

Beide nederlandse ploegen tegen elkaar met een wedstrijd die na vier kwarten gelijk eindigt met 35 - 35. In de verlenging gaat Weert sterk door en wint uiteindelijk de wedstrijd met 6 punten.
 
Both Dutch teams playing against eachother in a game that after four quarters ends with a draw 35-35. In the extra period Weert scores and maintains the pressure, finally wins the game with 6 points.

Nerveuze partij waarin Mons-Hainaut duidelijk technisch en sneller basket speelt en de wedstrijd gaat controleren. Leuven heeft teveel balverliezen en ongecontroleerde passen die telkens feiloos door de tegenpartij wordt omgezet in een score. Een technisch zeer sterk Mons-Hainaut geeft de nodige druk en wint de wedstrijd met een duidelijk verschil

Very nerveous game in which Mons-Hainaut plays a high level technical and fast basketball, controlling the game. Too many uncontrolled passing and losses of ball lead to the scores of the competitor. Technically high level basketball from Mons-Hainaut makes the difference translated in a serious loss for Leuven.

Nerveuze partij met veel missers en balverliezen aan beide zijden gewonnen door Eiffel Towers met 9 punten

16u30 Gold medal game : Dexia Mons-Hainaut - BSW Weert - 97 - 79 - WINNER  MONS-HAINAUT

 

The game for second and first place - De wedstrijd tussen de winnaars van zilver en goud.

Deze wedstrijd wordt met 4 x 10min gespeeld. Twee erg sterke teams ! Onze Italiaanse spelers in het publiek zijn duidelijk in "the mood" en vuren de teams aan. Mons-Hainaut is sterker dan Weert ook al heeft dit laatste team een duidelijk overwicht in lengte. De techniciteit van het basket van Mons is echter van die aard dat het de 'lengtes' het verschil niet kunnen maken, Mons-Hainaut dat uiteindelijk de 'Gold' winner wordt van dit tornooi.

This final game is having the classic 4 quarters of 10min. Two very strong teams competing ! Our Italian players from Bologna are clearly in the mood as very vocal public. The stronger team is Mons-Hainaut and Weert knows it .. even with the clear difference in lenght to the advantage of Weert. From a basket technical point of view it makes no difference for Mons-Hainaut that finally wins the Gold in this tournament.
